Asbury Carbons leads the world in supplying carbon products to manufacturers of friction products that include brake linings, clutch facings, and specialty friction materials. Our raw materials go beyond natural and synthetic graphite, Graphco, metallurgical cokes, and petroleum cokes to include specialty carbons such as carbon fibers, activated carbon, hard carbon, and carbon black.

Specialty lubricants are also available, including molybdenum disulfide, antimony trisulfide, and calcium fluoride. Asbury’s broad line of friction modifiers and specialty materials include iron copper sulfide, zinc sulfide, potassium titinate, Gilsonite, mica fillers, and proprietary products such as Sicacell, Ultimate, and Adaptive SRI.
